Get this - there was actually a time when I worried about being on reserve... because I didn't think I'd have the required 3500 hours when it was time to upgrade!

From what i remember of the work rules..once your 6 hours is up, and they haven't assigned you anything..you're done.

BUT, if they tag you within the 6 hours with something, the report can be as late as :59 minutes after your scheduled "end of ready".

ex on ready from 1-7 - you can have a show at 7:59 so long as you're notified between 1-7

Am i right on that?.......it's been a while

Could you email those pages, or print and fax?. If so, PM me and I'll send you a way to get in touch.
Thanks a bunch.
Heck even I'm locked out of fleetwatch! I need to kick IT in the butt to get me back in. For TRAX you have to be mx inorder to access that part. I won't be back at work till tomorrow night, but I'll do what I can.

(to those that don't have epic access anymore)

Just listened to the Presidents Message on EPIC. Says there will be no recalls with the news of the additional flying in the northeast and there will be no additional furloughs through August on the pilots side as we do not know our fall schedule yet. Mainly FA furloughs, but even those will be minimized due to the additional flying.

I dont understand how that is possible. Every reserve in jfk this month had close to 70 hours. Whatever....

I listened to the message. He mentioned no recalls quickly and under his breath as if he was trying to avoid the subject. It would seem to me, that if they furloughed to 298 because they figured that would be a good number for the planned hours, and now we have more than planned, they wouldn't need 298 on the street. But again, what do I know.

Hi y'all, got a question.

Got an email from Great Lakes. They are interested in "talking with me
about the opportunities they have available".

Question is, besides low pay and the awful bases they have, can you all give me reasons as to why I should not interview?.

Thanks.
