According to today in the sky we are done with Bos-bwi. The last day of operation will be august 17 (1 day after southwest starts that route).

Yep. Could another meltdown be on the horizon. I have a great idea! Let's bring the FA's on board with emaestro at the same time we change a boat load of crew domiciles and start displacing and Junior Manning 50% of the pilot group due to lack of staffing on a daily basis.

I just saw this on the news that the pilot of the Colgan crash had 22 hours of rest however the news said that he was sleeping in the crew room and had logged on the computer at 3am. Sleeping in the crew room is against their Company policy. Too bad Fox news will never see our crew room at night!

isnt technology great. They can track every move you make. The FO also took a red eye in before her report. Lack of proper rest is going to be a big issue in this. Hopefully it doesnt cause issue for commuters.

Since when is catching a nap in the crew room illegal? Isn't that the point of having a dark "quiet" room with recliners?

I'm not sure how I would make it through ready reserves if I wasn't allowed to sleep.

I don't know about you....but the best ready reserve shift for me where the 5AM ones. You get to the JFK crew room, find a couch, and sleep until your shift was over. Best 6 hour nap.
