They must be running an extra flight to help out Delta. I feel bad for the poor bastards that have to ride on the CR7 from PHX-ATL. Good thing is, according to TravelNet the flight is only booked to 29 people right now. They should have send a 50
I'd love to be in row 13 on a 50 for that one... I highly doubt it would be able to do it for that long of a flight though. At least the inflight entertainment system will keep them happy.

Actually, no. You'd be suprised at what you'd find if you looked at the Ops Notes. And there's a letter from Jeppesen posted all over the trailers.

Well, I don't need some letter telling me those charts were placed in there by mistake. It was for all the moron pilots we hired that actually thought we were going to start flying to Japan, Alaska, etc.

Basically that the charts for Kagoshima Japan, Ketchikan, AK, etc. were placed in there by error.

Just to clarify! We are not going to start flying from Kagoshima, Japan to the Unites States via Ketchikan, AK (fuel stop) in a CRJ! You should have heard all the crap coming out of people's mouth today in the trailers...

To quote a Comair Captain: "Are we really hiring pilots that are that stupid"? Apparently yes.

God that’s sad. Its even worse hearing what some of the guys/gals on IOE are still believing. If someone is still giving them hope than that person is an ahole, and if there still to bright eyed from having a "new shinny jet to fly" than there in for a rude awakening

OK - last attempt on this point and then I will give up. I promise. Delta will not negotiate, either directly or indirectly, with the Comair MEC. To do so would put them at risk of losing the seperate Comair operating certificate and violate the principles of "single carrier" in the minds of folks like the NMB. Comair management negotiates with Comair MEC and that is it period. Delta is not going to put themselves in a position where they are forced to merge with Comair because they were stupid enough to "negotiate" with the Comair pilots. Those are the facts.

Which if you believe all that, and I do, means that the MEC was not telling the truth about what really happened. Hard to believe, I know, that they would misrepresent something to the membership. Why would they come up with a story like that? Because they actually came down from some ridiculous demand and that is what broke the deadlock? And they could not tell the membership something like that, so they come up with a story that discredits the current management? Who knows? But I really do believe that their is lots of koolaid on both sides and don't buy anything either of them says 100%. Now I am done, I have made my point.

So did anyone else get a call from the union today wanting to confirm they received their furlough letter and answer questions concerning the furlough?
