I hope it is true, but they are just Rumors!! If it would be true they would have started canceling some of the downgrades. Also, we lost 900 hours on the 50 in CVG in November. Freedom is all over the place here and is picking up more flying next month, along with Pinnacle. I think this rumor would only hold true if we would see some kind of huge increase in flying or more airframes.

No increase in flying whatsoever. As of right now I was told we are at 63 airframes and the model stays that way into 09', so no airframes either. I was told that there is mitigation on the furlough's with flex schedules, cola's, voluntary furough's etc... So if anything there might be an extension but unfortunately the furloughs are still happening.
The news is there is no news and Comair is pretty much at idle with the consesus being wait and see at the time of merger for DAL and NWA.

In case you don't check your company email, this morning they sent out an email saying all furloughed pilots will receive nonrev pass benefits on Comair and Delta for the duration of the furlough.

They get S3B! I guess it's one better than S3C? Better than nothing, though...

Really.

I think you and I had completely different furlough experiences.

I had full pass benefits.
I kept all of my manuals.
I kept my crew badge.
I jumped on other airlines.
I didn't have to pay the flight station anything.

I think those options should be available to everyone being furloughed now. Either way, its a nice victory in regards to the pass benefits.

First of all I'm talking merely about pass benefits. It was announced that people laid off were given for 3 months of pass benefits last time around, the reason you had them the full time was the furloughs only lasted about 3 months.

Last time I think they also gave 3 months of medical...after furlough.
As for the Flightstation, I know guys who didn't get a last check as the full balance was taken out.

So does this mean only WE can use our travel benefits, or this still work as they do now with the travel companion and buddy passes?
