The last bid had 128 145 captain spots, 19 of which were open.
This bid awarded 113. Sounds like 15 weren't filled.
The only reason it might not have been filled is if you weren't finished with SOE.
(This is what I'm seeing anyway. I could be completely wrong about this)

I don't totally understand how all of this works, what are the "needs" of FO's on the PHL 145? In other words, at what point will the "no reserve" go away. (Which sounds as suspicious as snake oil) but was touted in the interview as we'd have little to no reserve. Obviously with airplanes continuing to join, this changes the answer virtually day-to-day.

So it's reasonable to guess this will be the norm until the supply of pilots will meet the demand of the aircraft?

Yes. No reserve and lots of premium pay to go around for awhile. I'm nervous to even think about summer flying. It's going to be crazy.
