Same as the first time around. New proposal sent to DOT, waiting on approval, earliest LGA would close is mid 2012, if the swap gets approved. Still funny Airways can't make money in one of the most sought after markets in the U.S.
As for 141 programs, it's all a bunch of BS. Bad for the student, bad for the instructor, limits your flexibility yet in the end you get the same stuff done.. 61 is far better as far as im concerned, much less a PITA as well for both parties.

I haven't heard that since 2006, early 2007. Back when 750-1000 hours was "high time".

I guess i meant that the "High Time" Was in relation to the rest of us.
I think m buddy is going to be in the July class now that they moved the june class up a week. Also One of my Sim partners form Purdue is in the July class I think.

I heard that the last class coming out were mostly low time and almost all came from Purdue and maybe a couple from DWC. Also heard that the training dept says they're not really wanting to take even the ERAU kids because they're not producing steam gauge competent pilots anymore.
The new hires who don't hold the degrees all seem to have "higher" time (ATP mins or close to them) from what I hear, so I buy it that the only low timers are from the prefered schools with good records of getting through our training. Anyone see it different than this, or are most of the low timers Purdue or DWC, etc?
