American has said they want to triple PDT size. The number of new jets offered is pretty staggeringly high showing more growth than any regional right now.
Additionally... how can PDT be anything BUT the fastest flow. Look at the numbers for PSA, PDT, and Envoy.
PDT has a senior pilot group with around 80 people not wanting to leave their job. That means they have around 320 people that want to flow?
320 people/ 4 per month they're flowing is 6.6 years.
Factor in 2 per month leaving to United or Delta or wherever and 1 per month retiring?... that's losing 7 people per month
320/7 per month= 3.8 years which is better than their online propaganda states.
PSA has had their flow slowed SEVERAL times because management can decide they also have 3x the people PDT does.
Envoy has a nightmare of people flowing based on old flow and current flow and again has WAAAY more employees than PDT.
PDT has less employees than PSA and Envoy. Hands down, PDT has the fastest flow. Want the quickest path to upgrade, lots of money, and American? Its all a numbers game and every single answer points to PDT.

I'm cautiously optimistic. Better pay, better schedules, respect to the grunts.. If you build it they will come..
People are walking around like zombies.. Plus those taking Triple Premium pay are plumb worn out.. I really want to see the best for this place since there are wonderful people here, but I hate seeing people taken advantage of. Pilots are no longer plentiful, treat us as the precious resource we are in this market. Too many FOs are leaving.

This.... No AAG wholly owned can grow unless AAG decides to up the compensation. Period. It's just not happening. Envoy is ultimately shrinking. PSA has likely no growth left because we can barely staff what we have. And Piedmont is growing at Mach turtle. And it's only going to get worse going into 2017 and beyond. I'm not so optimistic that the flow is anything more than a way to get the top-paid regional CAs off the seniority lists and also attract some new hires. If you are more than 2 years from flowing I wouldn't count on it. Too much will change.

I don't have anything figured out any more than you do compadre. But I think AA has a history of taking giant craps on its regional(s) and all the current signs point to another giant turd in the making. That could always change tomorrow though. All I know is that if AAG intends for its regional's to not only succeed but grow, they have a long way to go and not a lot of time to get there.

More like who doesn't have the wool pulled over their eyes. If we want to know how it's going to play out, all we have to do is look at the other WOs. The WO Presidents love to give lip service, but in the end they aren't calling the shots. Though it's endearing that he gives you a warm fuzzy feeling about the future.

Exactly...
We have to remember that this is USAirways management. Yes, before as American Eagle, AMR wanted to divest us before BK. Then they started diversifying their feed, but things were stable and not much BS was going around.
It is important to notice, that without the merger, PSA/PDT/ENY wouldn't be in the position that they are today. AA would be in a better position standing alone.
