Up in Harrisburg they are turning them out quickly it seems.. Last week I talked to a guy in the crew room got three days between LOE and SOE. The week before it was 4 weeks to another guy. All I know is there are a ton of new faces around.
I'm glad they got some bodies in the June class as well. I wasn't expecting that many. Still, pay better get more bodies!!
Tell that to the MDT based guys in the December/January class who are just starting SOE
Could not be farther from the truth. Most recent guys going into SOE waited about 1.5 months from their checkride. No saying some didn't get in earlier, but everyone waits at least a month, as of right now
My mistake. I didn't realize how fast things have slipped in the past few months. I hope they get things back in track soon.
I can't seem to make this crew shortage add up. On my reserve days, I rarely get called out to fly. So it cost me money to go to work, at this point I'd look forward to going back to training because at least my rooms would be paid for!!!
