I agree that it was shady BS if AAG, PSA, and ENY had us left out in the dark. I will fault them too...hey all GFY's! It's now Friday and y'all are behind so you boys better be working this weekend!

People, calm down. The proposal has not been turned down or decided on in any manner whatsoever. ALPA is simply waiting on the company to provide the written language so they can review it and, at a minimum, review the fine print. The follow-up clearly stated they were waiting on the proposal. What part of that means that the talks are over?
Perhaps if you took the initiative to pick up the phone and call your representative, you would know that already. You could use that time on the telephone to provide your opinion on the matter, which is the whole point of having a representative in the first place.

It's stuff like this that creates public disunity within the group that the company negotiators love.
I'm not the biggest fan of our current MEC chairman, mostly because of the way in which LOA 19 was negotiated, but I agree with how they are handling this situation. It's a shame it has unfolded the way it has but I find little fault with Bruce or the union.
I've called my rep and a negotiating committee rep and made my opinion known.

So why accept the same as everyone else, why not try to make ours the best of the 3? We are talking about a matter of days maybe weeks here. That's one new hire class if even.

Hey I hope it is the best. It should be, as we are arguably harder to hire for. Praise will be earned at that point. I'm done *****ing, it is just extremely frustrating. If you want a constructive suggestion, shoot for the highest hourly wage of the 3, 40+ per hour. Also, give the CAs 5K and the FOs not affected by the bonus 2,500 in retention.

I'm joking, but I feel like we've come full circle here.
I'm just as anxious to hear what happens but I'm willing to give it some time, especially since we got a late start.
