PSA and Envoy are different pilot groups entirely. They probably placed emphasis on senior FOs getting a bonus because there are a large amount of senior FOs at Envoy. PSA needs new hires, that benefits our relatively junior pilot group as a whole, the most. We did try and get more money for our CAs, but all that AAG would come up to was $7500. Why do you even care? It's excellent news no matter what.

So your MEC threw ours under the bus. Ours claims they didn't leave anything on the table.

Earlier this year you guys took the bonuses first and we balked.

It's the same old song and dance. I'm not going to get worked up about it.

A pilot recruitment LOA, like PSA and ENY, was approved by the PDT MEC this evening. Details should be out tomorrow.

To use your words: THE MORE YOU KNOW.
What is funny is that PSA HAS NOT signed it yet. They were going to sign it today, but have not yet.

They were talking to the MEC chairmen at PDT and Envoy and this is something that they were all working on together.

Get your information straight.

It will be signed in the next couple days, and will coincide with PDT and Envoy signing.

They were not talking to PDT's. Maybe within the last few days they talked but before the announcements at PSA and ENY there was no discussion with PDT.

According to the ENY MEC, PSA jumped on a deal before either WO had the chance to try and negotiate something better. Signed or not signed, seems like PSA was happy to accept whatever was offered.

We heard the same from our Chairman, he was eating dinner with the Envoy Chairman when they heard PSA had agreed to the LOA out of the blue.

If that is true, then our MEC is lying to us. There is already a small faction that want to recall our MEC. If this is true, the number that want this will grow exponentially overnight.

It's unfortunate. We missed an opportunity to coordinate our negotiations and get some real permanent improvements.
