I'm coming to 121 in Jan when I hit 1500. Narrowed it down to PSA, Piedmont, Republic and Skywest.
Which bases are junior at Piedmont, are they commutable from CLT or RDU?
Or would it be better to live in base? I have family in NC. Would rather not live in philly.

Thanks

I would like to think new hires are getting the jet soon, but the guys who are switching from dash will get priority, right? How many are switching over and that will cause new hires to go to the dash

All of our bases are junior, you can hold whatever base in whatever seat you prefer within 6 months.

I think the consensus advice is to live in base, or at least driveable to one. I for one will tell you, it makes QOL so much better.

Thanks.
Piedmont seems like the place to go considering fast upgrade, top pay, and flow.

Question about the flow....if it's one additional flow number/month for every 125 pilots....then by my limited math skills that's 12/yr/125 pilots. Assuming no other attrition that's around 9 yrs to for mr.pacman to eat all those numbers above you? I'd like to be at Piedmont, but not for 9 yrs if I can help it. Seems kinda long...

Plus up to $20,000 bonus for all 3.

Envoy's flow - contract but will take longer than PDT if hired now
PSA's flow can be STOPPED by management
PDT's flow CANNOT be stopped for the duration it is stated in the contract. I think 10 years.

Correct me if I'm wrong.
The only thing they can do is hold pilots from flowing in a particular month. However they all have to be on property by the end of the year. But they cannot just stop the flow. At PSA.

A couple questions:

If you're offered upgrade in training are you seatlocked on the dash?

How many 145s are planned?

Anyone got a copy of the contract?

PDT's web page = $15000.00 bonus + $5000.00 for 121 experience for a total of up to $20000.00

PSA's flow cannot be stopped by management any more than yours can. It is contractual.
