The airways guy who negotiate this makes 3.5 mil a year. I'm sure he doesn't know just how much to offer and what threats to make to get 50% plus 1 vote to be in favor.
The 12 year cap only applies to pilots under 12 year longevity. What lifer that's topped out or almost topped out would vote no? They get to keep their top pay plus "better" job security. Surprisingly I know at least 2 topped out CAs that voted no. Good for them. And what junior FO that's looking at 6-7 year upgrade would vote no? You got guys making lateral movements chasing upgrades. Simple yes vote will improve your chances here. Screw other regionals if they're mad at us. That's their mind set. So that's potentially 30-40% of the pilot group that will be voting yes no matter how much we try to inform them why this TA is horrible for PSA and the rest of the industry.
Scream and yell all you want, but this was not an easy process for our guys and gals. Our private forum is temporary shutdown because we are still arguing amongst ourselves even though the ballot is closed and we've lowered the bar.

Not so much "lowered the bar", as buried the bar...

So the official answer is...(drum roll) ... Integrity (lack of).

Like I said, integrity. I'd say calling me the PDT clown, while having no knowledge of who I am, or how long I've worked at Piedmont, shows a complete lack of integrity. If you knew me, you would know that I have the utmost respect for guys that have been flying longer than I've been alive, as well as guys that are fresh out school with ink dripping off their certificates. A person's age doesn't dictate how I treat them, or the respect I have for them; how they act and handle themselves determines what I think of them, young or old.

I'd say from this raging hormonal, emotional response; along with blaming someone else for "making you curse" you should probably not be riding on jumpseats. What happens if someone says something you don't like while you are on their jumpseat? I'd rather not be on that aircraft. I'd also argue that due to your very upset demeanor, that getting denied a jumpseat, or even the mere threat of getting denied a jumpseat, seems to be working.
And I showed my integrity by not going to go jets or Great Lakes or Gulf Stream 6 years ago and also by risking my career and voting no to this TA. What have you done other than talking. PDT MEC tried to set up a meeting with the Group. Let's see you walk the walk like many of us did.

You aren't walking the walk. You are obviously upset that you are getting the same treatment as the yes voters. If, and that's a BIG if . . . more like a doubtful if, Airways ever approaches us with an actual offer, you can be sure I'll be voting "no" for anything concessionary. We've given enough, and I most certainly would rather burn this place to the ground as opposed to giving more. If the majority don't feel this way, and pull a PSA, then I'll have to take what is coming . . . not complain about how unfair I'm being treated because everyone else voted yes.

Yes, even the mechanics see the folly in regional pilots at PSA stabbing the rest of their industry in the back.
