RAH folks, do you guys have a pay scale for this or will it just be meshed with the 170 pay? Are they even the same type rating?
I don't post on here very often for a lot of reasons. But honestly. Have you ever seen someone with this sticker? Or dance a jig and get excited about taking mainline jobs? I've been flying for s5 for a while, and I can't say I have seen/heard any of this. Is this one of those things you make up to self-justify why you don't like something? People here are just as upset about it as you are there. Let's not spread rumors to further distance the pilot groups.

What do you mean "we aren't flying 190s." You will be when the airplanes arrive!
Don't try to deny what this means. You will seal your fate as a regional airline pilot. Enjoy it. Its all you got or will ever have.

If I was you guys and you do end up with the flying, I wouldn't want to be seen anywhere near those airplanes as well as at the airport. Good luck. By the way what is the seniority level of the Midwest flying at RAH?

I think a new definition of a scab should be if you are doing the work for others that have shown a willingness to strike for, but not currently allowed to, then you are a replacement worker, then you are a scab... 170's for Midwest were pretty low, but if you guys don't do something to stop this then you guys should be on everyone's shtlist.

A solution would be to effect performance numbers for all carriers. Don't drop the brake on time... as simple as that. Take Crew delays. Send a message that you care. Way easier than failing checkrides like others have mentioned.

What are my options YX? Should I "Grow a pair" and not fly them? Get fired? Maybe that would be the right thing to do in principal, but you had options before as well. I'm not going to get fired by refusing what I was hired to do. Go on strike, and I will not cross the line. Until then, it is what it is.

If my union tells me to "slow down". I will. Your definition of a scab is completely wrong.

This is apples to apples, replacing the same number of seats.
