Default No fluff. How many hours...

Yes I could have searched forums but I'd like an up to date answers on Eagle, if a few of you would be so kind. Thank you.

How many hours a month can one expect currently to be able to fly once training is finished? I have absolutely no airline experience. Corporate, and 135. No way I could make it on gaurentee so I was hoping to fly the max. Im dreaming? Reasonable if I give dispatch Wendy's coupons? ?

Second, again I have no background and this question has had me wracking my brain. Does one or must one live where domiciled or is it possible to be on reserve and commute? I can hear the laughs already. I'd just like to know.

How long is it taking to upgrade to hold a line?

Again thanks for you patience. All my colleagues are corporate. I have always had the goal of flying for the airlines. I am older and now that my kids are finally saying... "Dad, don't you have something else to do?" LOL I feel it is a perfect time to jump over.

Thanks so much!

Correction. Some of them are better than others. Give me Eagle over Colgan or Great Mistakes.

True. Sorry I was being VERY general about regionals. None are spectacular, but some are better than others.

Yes, at least the Paris Air Show. Winning best regional is like getting the best fat chick at a bar. Congrats! But you'll still hate your life in the morning.

Hey at this point I'd be happy to get a job at a regional, and if it ends up being Eagle I'd be thrilled.

Thanks so much!

it varies from each base! *i think* the new hires that finished IOE two months ago are not holding a line in jfk, immediately if you are on the crj in LGA. again, the line values differ each month. You can plan on 75min credit pay on reserve, 72min if you're a line holder. Once you are able to hold a line, you could pick up extra hours to supplement your line guarantee.

enjoy

Yes, Dropped off an resume at the 6/25 Pilot Job Fair ans got a call [E-mail] on the 28th indicating that my application will be reviewed in 2 days! I believe that is good news.

Do you know how long it might take to get a line on the EMJ DFW once out of IOE (sometime in Oct)

not sure about dfw, but if you have access to jetnet, you could check how far you are down the list and compare to how many emj lines they have.
