Bidding Question

Trying to find the answer in the contract but if a person enters training before the bid closes, can they still bid for March?

Correction, Eagle leases the Jets from American and American owns the Jets.

"As of the end of 2011, the net book value of such transferred Jet Aircraft was $2.3 billion, and the aggregate outstanding indebtedness (net of discount) associated with such transferred Jet Aircraft was $2.1 billion, including liabilities classified as not subject to compromise and liabilities classified as subject to compromise."

???

Yes, and bid something you want so when they send you home you have a decent schedule. However, the guys who finish training the day after bids close get to sit reserve for 40 days. And yes, I've had both those situations happen to me the past 2 months. This place sucks.

I've been waiting for IOE since Dec. 13. I got a call last night at 5:45pm eastern time from a lady in the training department:

"We are sending you to Dallas tomorrow on at 5:15pm flight to sit in case something opens up for IOE."

I called her this morning and said "so, I don't have a schedule yet?"
She says: "No, we are bringing several of you to Dallas to sit for 6 days in case somebody calls in sick, etc."
I asked her: "Okay, well I need to know what time I'm expected to be on call for those days. This way I can get into a sleeping pattern."
She says: "Just be ready, we'll give you a 2 hour notice"
I told her: "That's unacceptable and it's illegal for me to be on reserve 24 hours so we need to find a better solution"
She tells me: "Well that's the way we have to do it."

I spoke with the union and got it all squared away. He talked with them and we all got a phone call telling us to stay home for the weekend.

Do they think they can step all over us because we are new? Sorry Eagle, but I am a human being too, not a pile of crap like you think I am.
