My understanding is that Bloch views this as an acquisition, not a merger. Republic, whether they "saved" Frontier or not was done as an acquisition. NWA/DAL was a straight merge. I have no credible source just heard the same thing from a few different guys who don't know each other (maybe they hang our around the same water cooler). Anyways, I don't understand why people are still getting wrapped up in this, there's nothing that can be done by any of us. Sure if I get screwed I will be unhappy and I expect a XJ or 9L pilot to feel the same way, but lets keep it in the realm of whats really happening here.
Wrong again. DL "acquired" NW.

Doesn't matter who acquired who to an arbiter.

Here's the email. Well the body of the email.

"May 13, 2011

Today, Mr. Bloch has contacted the three Merger Committee chairmen regarding the Seniority List Integration Decision. He has indicated that his Decision and Award is almost complete and will be released on or before next Friday, May 20."

Lol, what else do you expect me to say?

All 3 MEC's argued in the beginning of JCBA that this was a merger, not an acquisition. But if you ask a 9E guy, he believes it is.

Who has any idea how Bloch views this situation, we will find out soon though, I hope.

20th now?

Sigh.

It doesn't matter whether it's a merger or acquisition with regards to an SLI...
