Watch your rainmaker, it is often wrong. Questions? Ask the union only. I've been screwed so many times by the company I get angry talking about it. Thankfully theres some guys at our union who do just payroll and they'll get you straight quick.

Anybody watch the Ask Ed Anything about the 50 seaters? Seemed decently optimistic about the future of the 50 sweaters sticking around....albeit in small numbers of course.

Is the washout rate really 15% now? Also, I believe if we got any of the above airplanes they would be transfers. We got a lot of good pilots recently when AW was looking bleak, and I think that would be the case again if someone was losing airframes to Endeavor. However, I'm very skeptical about this type of rumor. Because it seems to pop up every year and nothing happens. In fact, every time this pops up GoJet seems to get a better deal. They're going to lose 700's. Nope, now they're getting 7 900's and all is well. But they suck in New York, lets give them a Detroit base. There are weird things going on right now like Endeavor MX doing Express Jet MX, and the fact that they're bringing Dual class aircraft to New York. And I've heard from management that there will be two less Delta Connection carriers next year. Wait and see, but don't hold your breath

The thing with 50 seaters at EDV, is that they are not on contract. Thus they act as spare aircraft, and you might as well keep them around.

Things are getting quiet and strange at ASA. EDV mechanics are coming on our planes in DTW just to "check on things" when nothing was written up (2 seperate occasions) and we have mother Skywest MX in DTW. We break down in LGA and the first instinct I hear is to call EDV for a part and not wait for a part from ATL (the old norm). Sharing part of the ASA crew lounge in ATL and rumor was sharing part of the ASA hangar in ATL but mgmt put damage control on that. We also have very few parts on hand for the 7/9s that are left to perform heavy mx and c-checks. Oh and this place is falling apart. Something appears to be afoot
