I want the flow as a plan B since other regionals
don't have it. So should I go with PSA ENVOY or PDT?
Talk to a regional airline recruiter. They'll tell you everything you want to hear.

You have too many hours and experience

I had to laugh at this one. The "FLow-through 101" was a thread I started, after you told me to use the search function. The irony.

If the OP ends up at a major before I do (as someone who is at a regional without a flow), you might as well just paint me red and stick a crowbar up my nose.

I took the job at Eagle when the first flow through agreement came out. My intent was to get some 121 time and get on with a major ASAP. The "lost decade" messed up all those plans. Fortunately the flow started back up and I eventually made it to AA. It was nice to be on captain pay at a good regional having a great quality of life, knowing I was going to flow. No worries about interviewing/job fairs etc. like my buddies at other regionals. I would pick a company with a flow for this reason. You can put your career on autopilot and enjoy life outside of aviation while you're young. Most guys at other regionals are constantly trying to escape to LCCs etc. Then they try and bail out of there to a major because it's not their dream job. Envoy was a great place to be for 16 years. I have no complaints. My quality of life was excellent. The pay was great, the 401k match was really good, and travel benefits on AA was nice. Good luck!

Envoy is the best regional airline for new hires without previous 121 time. Sure, eight year upgrades and pilot's flowing with 2000 hire dates don't look favorable right now but you must time it right and get ahead of the wave.

Envoy's been going down for awhile. They've hit rock bottom and are just now stabilizing enough to become attractive.

Envoy has a large percentage of lifers which helps with the flow for junior pilots. Envoy didn't hire for a long period of time and not many FOs on the list between 2012 and now will cause the upgrade times to go really junior in about 1.5 years from now.

A low time pilot hired today will need 1.5 years to reach 1000 hours of 121. Once Envoy has a 1.5 year upgrade, new hire classes will be increase in size. I would get ahead of the wave and go their now if I was new to industry without previous 121 time.

Envoy has the same flow-through formula as Piedmont for new hires. Envoy has a decent overall FO compensation with their recent bonuses.

Only Mesa polled worse in that poll, which is less than 2 months old.

You have absolutely no data to support that contention. If anything, people look for short term opportunities with the long-term potential firmly in mind.

Thank you for your response and others that
had taken the time to show me some light
either towards PDT or ENVOY. After making a
good analysis of the current industry or
possible situations, I had finally concluded that
Envoy will be the smartest choice. Not only because
of flow but stability as well.
