Or ever again. Writing is on the wall here, even the school house guys are saying the 145's are gone soon. (Subtly)

RAH does a lot of things, this is not one of them. I was furloughed after 6 months and the training contract is null and void if they cannot keep you employed. Tons of guys did not come back from my class, not one ever heard a peep. Unenforceable, and they would lose the case on past practice alone.
When did they furlough you? Things may have changed since then. The chief recruiter wouldn't lie would she? Like a military recruiter wouldn't lie to snag a young buck to fill a quota? Regardless, it's written in their contract and when you sign on the dotted line then you are subject to fighting it in arbitration if you don't uphold the contract. Not worth fighting over it in my opinion. I'll choose a different option.

Oh, and if you go interview with them, expect to fly standby and you stand a good chance of not getting a seat that late in the day. Just another way they screw you. I won't be filling the 21 April shuttle America seat.
FYI. It's industry standard in the regional field to get flown stdby to your interview. It's not a RAH thing and definitely not them trying to screw you (there's plenty of time for that once you hit the line here, lol!). Of All 5 airlines I've ever interviewed at, not a single one positive spaced me to the interview.

Shoot. Many majors, lcc's etc, you're on your own to get to the interview...

Ummmm SkyWest has no such contract.

I disagree with this. Maybe times have changed given the state of the industry... I've interviewed at several regionals recently (mostly for practice to get the one I want)- SkyWest, Republic, Horizon, ExpressJet, CommutAir, and Eagle and they ALL were positive space to/from the interview. And most if not all the flights were oversold and I was fine since I was PS. CommutAir and Horizon even paid for the hotel, too.

Well I've only ever interviewed at one (SkyWest, three days ago) and they provided positive-space travel SFO-SLC and back...

So far of five regional interviews and five offers, RAH is the only to book my ticket space available. It cost me an extra day of work. It's my fault, I should have known better..
