And isn't there a training contract?? Any airline that makes your sign a training contract you better buckle up! It's going to be a rough ride.

Is that the way Bedford is raising the pay now. He can't issue new pay rates like he did before, so he is going to raise the min from 75 to 78
Funny how everyone is talking about the swell first year pay at RAH. What a useless thread.
How's contract talks going?

Most Break 30K?? Really?? And if you include the signing bonus all that means is the 1st year guy makes about what the 2nd year guy makes. Well that sucks!

My first yr at RAH, I grossed $19,555. I don't include signing bonus, the $1600 "expenses" paid during training or per diem as none of that is "income". First year pay hasn't changed in 7+ yrs so this is very accurate. Of course I only worked 50 wks that yr not the full 52.
Let's all try to be honest and not exaggerate.

Seriously...the guys claiming 25-30k first yr are not being realistic.

Haha, you're the queen of exaggerating. I made 38,500 my first year. That's with the signing bonus and crediting over 100 hours a month on reserve and working every holiday. The pay and work rules here suck, but like anything in life, it is what you make it. Money can be made.

That's awesome. I know my buddy on the E-Jet says he never gets over 100 hours of credit and mid 80's if he's lucky. And with how much the Q400's breaks people stay away from that plane like the plague. Good you are getting 100 hours of pay credit a month. You must not be based in Columbus.

23 x 100 x 12 = 27,600 + 5000= 32,600
so where did the other 5,900 come from? All holidays? Isn't it only a handful of holidays that get paid and then it is only 75 for the holiday? I guess you are one of the guys that counts your per diem.
Congratulations
