What's the word on the street as to where these new United 175's will be based? Replacing the Q leads me to believe PIT/EWR mostly with a few going to MCI and DEN. Will all the extra (once they've replaced the 31ish Q's) 175's go somewhere else or just bolster those existing bases? Or am I way off?
I've been out on mil leave for a while and am just trying to keep in the loop.

Republic Airways Holdings Inc. (RJET) announced today that it has reached an agreement to amend its existing Shuttle America E-Jet capacity purchase agreement (”CPA”) with United Airlines to add 50 new Embraer 76-seat E175 aircraft. The duration of each aircraft under the E-Jet CPA will be 12 years. As a part of the amendment, Shuttle and United have agreed to extend the duration of the term of the agreement for the existing 38 E170 aircraft, with new expiration dates ranging from September of 2019 through December of 2022."
Seems pretty clear to me. Do they want to merge 170/175 in the future? I'm sure they do.
