Yes. It's one company with 3 airlines (certificates). Republic (Team Sapphire), Shuttle (Team Platinum), and Chautauqua (Team Scarlett).

In other news, CM the Muffin Man has been reinstated by the company outside mediation effective January 2014. He has to go back through training and qualify, hopefully for his sake he does this time.

Union and Company both mentioned the private mediation talks in their respective newsletters. Perhaps optimism a deal may get done is in order. We have a lot of growth left to go through and the seniority list does not seem to get any larger. Lots of CAs and FOs bailing as soon as they can. We are so short staffed it isn't even funny. When Part 117 hits 2 months from today I anticipate major issues for the company due to staffing.

Any news about Chautauqua classes or hiring? I know they need Q and 175 but are they forcing ( I mean offering) new guys the 145?

There was a class that started towards the end of last month.

I was in that class (23rd) for chq. A few days before they cancelled it and offered shuttle instead for 24th. No chq classes going on right now, and haven't heard about when they might do another or why the cancellation. Shuttle seems like a good side of the house to be on so far, just a good atmosphere.
