So republic buys luggage works bags for new hires? Let me guess the pilots on property get nothing! Classy as usual!

Not true. Every pilot is eligible, upon request, to receive a new luggageworks bag every four years (determined by DOH anniversary). Every pilot is also eligible for new uniforms every year, in addition to a wheel and bearing or handle repair on the pilot's existing luggage.

So, a 10 year pilot will have to wait 4 years to get his luggage, but a newhire receives one immediately? Something sounds wrong with that, but it is republic.

No, for existing pilots, it's 2 years from the date of ratification and then new suitcase. Sounds like you have not read the CBA

Don't jump off the "hatin' Republic" train, if it's makes you feel good, it makes me happy.

Semi-educated guess...

Somewhere around a month to month and a half.
