Quote: Yes. I do not know them personally, but I know of people who went from something like a king air or a metroliner to the 747.

Personally, I did not have any 121 time when I got hired, but I did have jet PIC time. Only way to find out is to throw your hat in the ring.
That's not good

Quote: Is it possible at atlas to get hired or even get resume looked at even without 121 or jet time? Let's say all 135 turboprop PIC time.
Thank you
Possible, but understand you may struggle more than others in training.

How long does it normally take to hear from HR after you've completed the online test? Thanks!

How so?
I can see someone coming from single pilot part 91 having a hard time. But jet time part 135? Isn't the crew concept, etc pretty close?

First year I'd say 50K and 2nd year maybe 85K.

Absolutely. Management loves resumes like that because it makes it tough for you to leave once they train you. Upgrade time will probably be short though if you're hired in the next 6 months.

Short is a relative term. When Delta is upgrading in under a year, our 4 year upgrade doesn't seem so "short".

Upgrade might be short, but you still won't make the money (or have the QOL) as a "quick upgrade" Captain at Atlas than you would as a second year F/O at Fedex, UPS, or Delta...or a 2nd year Captain at Delta.

Anyone getting calls for interview this month?

Have they addressed the B747 training issues? Have failure rates dropped?

Would someone with a couple thousand jet and 1000 TPIC have problems getting through the program?

Interview email arrived a few days ago - Dec 2nd and Dec 3rd @ Purchase NY. Apparently the "final" email interview invite has not been sent out yet - just an informal heads up and acceptance of your available date.

Did you get an invite, and what date? I plan to fly into Philly and drive up as schedule and airfares into HPN are too high. Also going cheaper on the hotel room, so I'll be a few miles away.
