I know QOL is one of the big complaints at Atlas, but how is it for people living in Anchorage? Do a lot of the trips come back through Anchorage?
Right now I only get 8 days off per month, with no improvement in sight. So Atlas is definitely high up on places I would like to end up. Just nervous about all the stuff I am reading.

The company owns you for 17 days a month, not 10, thus you will be gone for 17 days a month. If you are a reserve crewmember, the company can involuntarily extend you for 3 additional days on top of the original 17.

Yes the company does "own" you for 17 days but when I was based in ANC I regularly scored plenty of days on in ANC. Someone living in base at ANC would be able to do the same and it would be a good deal for them. There aren't many people who already live there and most Atlas bases do spit you out and you never return to base.
