So my brother-in-law is a Lear 45 pilot. He just flew to Portsmouth New Hampshire airport (KPSM). He told me that while he was there he saw a Atlas 777 sitting on the ramp. I immediately said that he saw one of our 767s and he swears it was a 777.
Can any of the 767 guys confirm that they have been to KPSM in the past week?

Yep, there's some rumors flying around but as far as I know, (which doesn't mean much) 777s aren't part of the batch. The 747 and 767 hiring that is planned should keep everything busy through the coming year. Of course, things may transpire that haven't show up on the crystal ball I purchased at Best Buy last month. Doggone it! They told me it was infallible!
Merry Christmas to everyone! I hope so see you all at Hahn at some point to share a pils and a jaegershnitzel.

Merry Christmas everyone. I had an opportunity to ask a few questions that I hope helps quench many of you out there's information thirst. I was called for the Jan 7th 767 class and here is what information I was given as of last week:
1.
Q: Will Atlas be attending the Women In Aviation International conference in 2013?
A: Yes! As of about 2 weeks ago Atlas gave their official notice that they will be attending.
2.
Q: Does Atlas have any plans to attend any other conferences in 2013?
A: as of right now No. That could change but at this time no plans have been made.
3.
Q: What are the interview dates projected for the near future?
A: No real set dates per say but the plan for now is to have an interview session every-to-every other month for the next 8 months.
4.
Q: Will those interviews be similar to the ones that were held in October, 3 days of classes a month and about 12 per class?
A: Yes, as far as HR is aware.
5.
Q: How many people are Atlas planning on interviewing in 2013?
A: Unknown, HR usually gets last minute ever changing information so it is hard to say.
6.
Q: How many 74/76 classes are projected for January/February?
A: the only information HR was given at that time was that the Jan 7th class was the only class they were filling this week (Dec 18-22).
7.
Q: How many more people are you planning on calling after me?
A: this is it, you are the last spot that needed filling for the 7th.
Hang in there Poolies, it's sounding ever more exciting at Atlas and you WILL get your call sooner than you can imagine so get ready!!!

Can anyone give me an idea of about how much net income you guys bring home a month on first year pay. I have no idea what to expect and its been forever since I had a civilian job, so I cant recall all the deductions...

Go back to post #1746...it should give you a pretty good idea. There also is a post that has an end of year pay snapshot that I haven't located yet. Hope this helps.

I was taking home about 2700 a month putting 15% in the 401k first. Per diem runs pretty steady around 800 a month (for 17 days). Pig out on the plane, we toss catering every landing. And about half the hotels include breakfast if you happen to be there at the right time. Once you make it through two months in MIA on 1200 a month (+ about 1500/month in per diem) the line shouldn't be a problem.
No ZEDs, there's some flat rate standby on Delta for 200 dollars a ticket. Not sure if that applies internationally.
