Quote: Hiring question; please refrain from telling me to stay away or asking if I have even been following the current climate because I have. My situation and current situation align me with a different need and vision for the long term. With the disclaimer out of the way, my question is this:
I took the online assessment a week ago yesterday and haven't heard anything from HR; does this lapse clue me in that I was unsuccessful or does it take a little longer to hear and move on to the next phase?

Thank you in advance for the constructive assistance!
I took my second assessment a week ago and haven't heard back yet. I was hoping to hear something this week.

Quote: I saw your username several times in the TRO. You'd think you might have learned something from that experience, but apparently you haven't. Get off this site. You are a cancer to this pilot group
You have no clue what you're taking about and just plain low class. The TRO actually highlights the biggest flaw in the pilot group and how the Company operates. Clearly when a pilot pulls 150 hrs of credit it directly relates to staffing and it gives the Company the ability to operate with fat profit margins and understaffed. Grow up, you're way over your head if you're worried about a TRO. You should get out there and high time fly so you can earn at market rates! Go earn that "High five"! I'll fly the contract and stay within the FAR's. If you can't handle that move on.

If you want to fly the bare minimum then knock yourself out. I'm personally a capitalist and don't care that someone is making 120+ hours of credit. I like my time off too and don't normally go above and beyond, but I'm not mad at a guy for working for a living. I agree that absent a contract, more and more people will individually lose motivation to come in on days off. This is the dilemma we face in trying to keep the status quo. Eventually market pressure will catch up to the clowns that run this place and they will have no choice other than to pay reasonable wages to their pilots. So go do your job and don't worry about how others are doing theirs.

Ha! Thanks for the lecture MR EZ E. Stay classy.

To me the TRO highlighted how a small handful of idiots here on APC can negatively affect an 1600+ pilot group.

I really don't see how you got what you got from the TRO. Maybe you need to read it.

Do what you want EZ if it's status quo. Your post hurts the group though. Im sure you are in full compliance with the TRO as we all are. Your post just isn't constructive.

If there ever was a more oblivious post on this forum, I'd have a very hard time finding it.

200 page complaint with the company using anonymous web posts as their supporting "proof". Half of the posts on here could have been from the company themselves but the judge still accepted it. Crazy yes, but it happened.

And now even though the company set us up for failure as they have done in the past the burden of proof is on us to show compliance to something we were complying with before it existed. Inflammatory posts even dancing around noncompliance only hurt us even as frustrated as we all are with how this management chooses to treat us.

They are all temporary and manage for the quarter not the long term. The CEO himself is close to traditional retirement age, you think he cares what happens to spirit in the long term. He's just trying to make his bonuses and millions before he retires. The COO bounces from airline to airline every few years with a history of being hostile toward labor. The pilots however, many of us wish to retire from spirit and have decades of our careers left. We have years of experience and countless amounts of money and time invested to get to this level. Now I ask who do you think is more interested in seeing spirit flourish in the long term while also earning an industry standard compensation? The pilots.

We were set up for failure just like in summers past because the quest for lower CASM makes it close to impossible for the company to function. I can tell you the pilots aren't responsible for a failure of that magnitude. Two years ago they did it and they enlisted our help with the promise of a reward. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and got spit in our faces. Two years later they do the same thing and instead decide to sue us instead to get us to clean up their mess.

Stay classy spirit!

The burden of proof for a TRO is minimal. The company included anything that even possibly insinuated a work action. The problem we have here is simple. By accepting the TRO and allowing it to become permanent, the Spirit MEC allowed all of the unproven TRO "evidence" to become fact.

If youre interested in Spirit as a career, understand that the TRO directly affects you. Have fun with that $ 38/ hour pay and no chance for OT in the near/far future. The weak MEC condemed you to earning less to fly 228 people around than you can make in a 90 seat RJ.
