100 hours a month is a bit optimistic, 90 is more realistic but you'd had in performance/financial rewards and now profit sharing it's really not bad to be a FO

Skywest
Which only helps make my point. They will be out of business in 5 years and yet got an increase to their industry leading contract. And Skywest, who is the most successful regional ever and will be in business forever, stays mediocre.

Part of the reason they are going out of business is their contract, but hey I'm sure the raise will make up for being unemployed in a few years.

I'm on second year SKW pay and I'm on track to make 55K this year. I qualified for and bought a house this year, have a two year old car, motorcycle, and have plenty of fun in my off time. No help from the parents and yes I have student loans too. It's really not as bad as a lot of people on this forum make it out to be. No kids or wife tho. Life is good when you appreciate what you do have.
Now add in the wife and kids along with being California based on that amount and see where it gets you...

Who is going to Mitch's service tomorrow?
What exactly is your point other than "plan B"? AWAC will likely go the way of CMR and ACA. XJT will probably go the same way. Your beloved ALPA co-conspired with management to create a whipsaw game and all you can blame is SkyWest. News flash Nevets, SkyWest could end tomorrow and there will still be this stupid whipsaw within a brand. They didn't create it. ALPA had more to do with it than SkyWest did. Either change the rules or play the game....

The "no one else is playing ball" is not true. I expect Delta talks to resume at some point in the future, or even United. Especially after what has happened to Republic lately in regards to staffing.
