Actually there's been a dtw rumor for years with the amount of stops and sits there from msp. This is gaining more traction with us gaining planes from endeavor especially after the AWAC deal with delta fell through

I don't think we'll see a DTW domicile unless we can get a long term agreement with Delta to keep the flying out of there (does anyone know how long the contract is for these additional 200s?). SkyWest hasn't wanted to open a domicile just to close it in a year or two. Though we did have an ATL, and even a DFW domicile for a while, they were kept very small.

Yeah I don't see a DTW domicile opening. If DL needs to quickly staff these 200's then ASA is already in a position to fly some. They already have a decent size DTW domicile. It's not cheap to open a domicile either, where it's probably just as easy to flow trips through it as we always have.

Hey quick question. Went for the interview recently and said my availability will be mid Jan as I will be out of the country on vacation till then. Other than the response email ( yes or no did i get the job ) is there anything else I must do stateside? Do they ask you for the drug test in the interim or does that happen when class starts? The point being I dont want to leave and then get an email saying I must pee in cup and have to come back just to do that.

They use to do the drug test on the first day of ground school. I don't know if that has changed though.

As of 1.5 years ago the drug test is done on the second day of class, no need to worry about that!

Rgr thanks. Not that I have had a yes or no answer yet but just didnt want to really screw myself on the last leg here.

How long usually do you wait for a reply? Anyone know when the usual class dates start? I know the next one is the 29th of this month. Kinda assuming that the next one in January will be around the same time. Assumption......

Usually they will Fedex it to you a week or so before class to study.
