Yet united gate agents always find a way to fill a and b and leave D open. Never happens on delta.

I think it has more to do with if that plane goes out less than full, those held seats should be the empty for weight + balance purposes, if flight is full they can use them. My experience has been they always release the seats if they need them, they just don't want ppl selecting them. Now if there is a differed seat that is broken it will be held as well, but can't be used

Yes. The E175 still has 63 reserve lines and an endless amount of composite line holders who get hardly any flying awarded. The CRJ has very few reserves in ORD, higher pay for the first couple of years and better benefits (Delta and American). If you want ORD it's absolutely no brainier to take the CRJ. I've been senior enough to hold the 175 since the first bid for it but there's no way I'll give up my Delta and American benefits while subjecting myself to 4 day trips or crappy standups just to fly a nicer airplane. On top of the credit being higher on the CRJ and the flight benefits being better on the CRJ the pairing mix is also far better.
My credit this month is around 130 on the CRJ. That's pretty much unhead of on the E175.

Can anyone comment on base and FO seniority movement if you are at a Jr base and intend on staying there (at least for the foreseable future)? Thanks.

rcfd13 nailed it on why someone should choose the CRJ over ERJ in ORD. I want the ERJ just like any person likes new stuff, but with all the advantages on the CRJ side, you wannabe hotshots can have your fancy underwing engines and autothrottles!

How many hours can I credit a month would you say once I get settled in at Skywest ? First year CRJ ORD
Would 95h be reasonable? How does it work anything over 76hr is payed at 150% ?
I'm just trying to calculate a reasonable pay first and second year that I can expect to do some planing.
Per diem would be about how many hours a month ? And is it taxed ?

On the crj it's not just possible , it what you are awarded, and there's zero reserve staffing to drop anything. So yes. 90-95 hours a month every month. Forever.
