I was wondering the same thing; just looked over the report that was published today and couldn't find the "net margin" to reference for the performance rewards coming up.

Pretty much SkyWest still taking E175's and shifting 700's from UA to AA, keeping most 200's.. XJT. By end of 2017 will be all 700/900 and 100 E145's. (Thats a loss of 100~ aircraft) ... as far as money.. XTJ had a small loss... expect them to break even maybe.. (they said the only E146 contract that was making money was the AA one and that's going away)

Flying on mainline as a commuter: if AA and UA both had seats available, can anyone offer advice on which carrier is preferable to sit in the back? I've been riding on AA a bunch, and had no problems, just wondering if there are any differences with UA?
Assuming this is chevy vs ford.
Thanks!

2 yrs is for the guys that got hired two years ago. New guy 4100 out of 5000 might not be so fortunate. Unless you guys never stop hiring l:confused:

Still two years is great compared to what it used to be even if you have to move to Detroit to get it. I think I would wait an extra year for the 175 and be West coast based.

Considering the big three are projected to hire over 1000 each, even if you say American won't take many that still doesn't include people going to fed ex, ups, southwest, frontier, jet blue and spirit. So comfortably we can say 3000 people industry wide are moving on. I would hazard about 500 are Skywest, that would mean we need to hire 40 a month just on attrition, nevermknd that we're growing. My point is SkyWest will be hiring indefinitely unless something huge comes down the line like a lot of aircraft leaving. Even then we'd need to lose 3 aircraft a month to not hire, that's a lot for us.

I think we these upgrades will stand for a long time barring any unforeseen event. Most junior ord is 7/28/2014 on last award. 175 is junior west coast but don't think that'll last forever. If I was upgrading now I'd take CRJ to avoid reserve.
