Question to everyone who has been in this game far longer than I have:

if we upgrade at 2500 hours and 1000 hours 121 SIC even, and manage not to be hired by a legacy any time soon afterwards, will they care whether or not we have more TPIC than TSIC? Basically will they be worried that we forgot to be FOs?

Pretty sure it's skywest airlines specific. To help our guys who decide to come back... not for all the other airlines....

It does include asa/xjt and they were working on one that would include all carriers. So any former 121 could come over and keep longevity towards pay.

You may also want to consider that there are literally 1000 pilots senior that will eventually upgrade.

Upgrading 700 a year so......
Will it continue? Who knows..

Where does that number come from? We have no where near that many captains leaving, and the last of our growth is upon us now.

Do the math! We've been upgrading about 60/month. Number of captains leaving has been 30-40, the rest has been growth. Going forward the amount of captain attrition will only increase. Only thing that will stop upgrades is the lack of new hires which is a real possibility but somehow we keep getting 60 plus every single month...

So do the awards for domiciles usually follow the DVR pretty closely numbers wise?

It is more like 40 per month. The ER7 CA slots tend to be transitions.
