Can't be an RJ! No way!! Even ATC calls it an Embraer, not an RJ.... ;)

Out of spite I always answer with RJ in sight.

They can spin it however they want. Is it a superior piece of equipment? Yes. Is it on mainlines contract and payscale? No. It's an RJ

It is. And it prepares you better for when you move on to a major airline.

Let me guess. You're the kind of guy who spends endless hours in front of the mirror trying his hat on.

Most ignorant statement I've heard in quite a while.

So when asked what makes you more qualified over the other applicants your reply will be, "duh, I flew the E-175."

Going to throw a wrench in the monotony with a random question, I'm able to start Monday in the RJ class which is four days away. I haven't received any material to study. Am I opening a can of worms by starting so soon without preparing?

Do it.

You'll have to know emergency items and a few other things, but only by the second week. Do it

Don't worry about Indoc stuff until you start class where they'll teach you what you need to know.
You'll want to start studying those Emergencies and Limitations once you can get your hands on one of the packets though, but don't sweat that too much either. You have all of ground school to pass the test if you have trouble the first time around(They literally let you retake it every day until you pass throughout the duration of the ground school).

There's an Indoc test at the end of the first week. They'll teach you everything you need to know for it. The limitations test you'll take the first day of systems which is the second week. Don't wait! With classes as big as they've been you'll want to get in and get your seniority started!
