Thanks man, sounds like the hardest thing to put up with is the crj guys talking smack to us. I swear that's part of their training footprint and they just don't admit it

There's a bunch of lifers in ORD. I think we'll see something like we saw last year, the upgrade will dip down a bit and a mix of senior RJ CA's and a handful of upgrades will make up each CA class. If ORD/BOI is where the growth is....

If any of those airplanes go somewhere other than BOI or ORD there's plenty of RJ CA's and 4-5+ year existing 175 CA's with transition/transfer bids in. LA, SF, DEN and SEA have significant backlogs of senior pilots wishing to transition.
Truth.
15 going to ORD for now.
Second part also true.

Default Anchoragua?

Any credence to the rumor of an Anchorage base for Skywest?

Spot on. I just finished the switch. A jet is a jet, and it can be learned. It was not nearly as difficult as it was made out to be. Just like any class you get out what you put in. 100% pass rate for our upgrade/transition class.

Even so the movement of these captains will drive progression across the seniority lists. They leave behind the good CRJ spots and make the CRJ upgrade more appealing. This is probably what is happening in LAX with all the transitions to ERJ SAN. Granted it may never be as good a qol but it will be better than the dtw/ord openings that many guys the heebie-jeebies.

Yup. System wide there will be a lot of movement in terms of upgrades. Between 2 yr CA seat locks, DMA program, commuters, senior transitons, etc., I think every base/plane will see some junior awards.

I don't think PANC made much sense for Horizon and with 4 destinations wouldn't make much sense for us.
Like a domicile in DAL with 2 gates and a handful of flights doesn't make sense.
But hey.
