I did a cursory check, and while it is an international airport in NAME, I could find no result for a search for customs, immigrations or international arrivals. I guess one could depart to a foreign destination, but I could find no evidence that one could arrive from one.
however -
airtran flies to cancun, montego bay and punta cana. (last two are seasonal)
Volaris: Guadalajara, León/El Bajío, Mexico City, Morelia, Zacatecas
Porter: Toronto-Billy Bishop
looks like none of these places have pre-clearance

the SWA naysayers will say gloom and doom. and thats fine, hey, this isn't the Soviet Union we can all have an opinion. back to regular programming, here is the Midway info
Service Port - Chicago
As someone else mentioned, Volaris flies southbound out of Midway
Volaris #945
The also fly northbound into Midway
Volaris #944
Now again, some folks on this board claim that CBP doesn't work at Midway and/or CBP will never in the history of the universe ever work at Midway, etc. And thats fine.
But the facts are that it is possible, it is do-able, and Volaris (a SWA partner) is doing it. So Volaris, a well run airline, backed by Carlos Slim, the worlds richest person, has the access and contacts already in place. Senor Slim, Mr Worlds Billionaire, Gary Kelly here, yeah I need a hand with my Midway to Cancun route, didn't you FUND the new Mexican President's campaign. Gee so maybe you can facilitate this ? Golly gee Mr Slim I am sure glad you and I are partners.
Mr Obama, hello Gary Kelly here, say you are the President, gee, aren't you a Chicago guy ? The thing is we want to offer additional routes into Midway, and create some jobs for hard working Chicagoans. Can you facilitate this Cancun to Midway thing ? Oh, your head of DOT is another Chicago guy ? Man thank you so much Mr Obama have a great day.
That's how deals are done, and made, in the world, everyday.
Guys, never say never, and never stop dreaming.
Have a great day

I think you meant to say "captain and FO seats" and it should have been posted on the Delta Hiring thread.
BTW- you're welcome for the career position you couldn't obtain through the front door and the RSW seniority. You'll have to send your thank you's to:

Wow. This post should be a candidate for the "Tool of the Day" thread. I've checked the other 19 posts you've made here, and they are all consistently tool-ish.
Just be advised, there are a LOT of Airtran pilots whose resumes will compare quite favorably with guys/gals at SWA.

But don't worry-You'll have numerous opportunities to share yours with the kernal. He loves to share his so make sure to bring extra copies.

I'm surprised that after that enormous amount of military a$$ki$$ing you never got hired at SWA. Prolly weren't a "good $hit" in the "Unit". Can you say unit more?

after digging a bit CBP doesnt seem to have a list of locations. (only one of possible entry points)
however -

Full disclosure: I applied for SWA (along with every other airline that was accepting applications) in the summer-fall of 2007. I retired in Feb 2008 [worst ... timing ... EVER!!! ]; interviewed with JetBlue and Airtran, hired by both. All other airlines stopped hiring because of the economy, and JetBlue and Airtran both placed me in the "pool", so I had to find something else to do for a couple years.
By the time the airlines started hiring again I no longer had the recency of experience needed to apply; fortunately, I was still in the pool at JetBlue and Airtran.
I took a job at FlightSafety -- I could tell when I was interviewing that they were concerned that I would leave as soon as the airlines stated hiring, so I told the Center Director I would stay for at least 16-18 months so that they could get a reasonable return from me and I could have time to evaluate FSI. He seemed satisfied with my commitment to them and hired me ...... and then JetBlue called 5 months later, right after I had spent the previous 4 1/2 months in Dallas (not the center I would be working at) in a hotel room FSI paid for getting fully trained as a ground and sim instructor along with FAA check airman certification.
I told JetBlue "no" -- the Kharma gods would have struck me dead if I left after 5 months when I told FSI 16-18 months minimum. Fortunately, Airtran called right at the 18 month point, so I went to training in Feb 2010, two years after AF retirement.
So, yup, I guess that makes me a tool! Guess I'll have to work on that.
Meanwhile .... looking forward to working with most of my fellow SWA employees. So far, I have not met anyone from SWA who hasn't been kind and gracious, and for that I am thankful.
