Sure, I really wanted LTD, Solid Scope, Trip Rigs, 4 days off, DC and can live with $2xx/hr considering I was at $13x.xx.

Its called negotiating, I didnt expect to get everything I wanted.

To each their own. I respect those that vote no as long as they throroughly go through the ENTIRE thing, as I will before I vote Yes.

Frontier pilot here. I have a question.

I'm reading the language on the PBS section, and it says "industry standard rig package with PBS including 5 hour minimum duty period average." I don't understand what that means? That's not a 5 hour credit min day? Or is it?

Duty period avg is what AA currently has. It sucks for the junior guys. You do a redeye day one and make 5:10 min that day. Second day is "off" in a hotel, third day you do the transcon back at 5:10 (or block) making a three day worth 10-11 hours of pay. Junior line holders work 18-19 days for mid 70's in credit.

Spoiler alert- that first “x” after the “2” is a “0”. Nowhere near where it should be when conceding to PBS. What you were underpaid before has no bearing on what your market rate is now.

I would vote no if this were presented to me. I would strike, (and will probably have to) especially in this environment. If you want to take substandard pay, while your company is raking in profits and having staffing issues that is up to you. Just realize that you effect the entire industry by accepting it.
You keep referring to this “strike”. May I ask which country you are living in where you can do this? No way in heck will we be released.

Gotcha, thanks. That's not what I thought.

But wouldn't the 3.5 trip rig ensure that a 3 day is always worth more than 10 or 11 hrs credit?

So tell me...how does one go on “strike” when you can’t get released by a mediator who thought the previous proposal was enough?
