All I know guys, is that this is the best negotiating environment in close to 20 years. If you’re not going to at least get industry standard now, you never will.
They can’t get away with dragging on the contract this long, it must be full retro. Spirit is one of the most profitable airlines, there’s no reason for not getting industry standard rates and retirement at DOS, they can certainly afford it. It only cost them an additional $.30 per CASM based on ALPA numbers.

Once AA, Jetblue, DAL, get their new contracts, you’ll be even further behind.

PBS is a non-starter, it cost JOBS!! Do you know what it’s like to be a class away from being furloughed.

Remember all your union brothers and sisters that walked the picket line with you. This will only lower the bar for everyone.

Don’t let union buster Ford Harrison staffers like Qotsaautopilot manage your expectations.

I was listening right up to the point of attacking Qotsaautopilot. Probably one of the only people on here who states facts and refrains from emotional rants

So you’re saying you listened to the whole thing then

How could I not mention him, seriously...he started a UNION BUSTER list tread, with the people on it guilty of “managing expectations” for saying the only way an agreement could be reached is if an AIP/TA looked EXACTLY like the one you see today, which now he “supports pending language”.

And HE is the one that’s sensible, states that facts, and stay away from rants? Did you see the post where he says he’s not making any excuses for the AIP, and then goes on paragraphs and paragraphs making excuses for why it’s a good agreement.

Are y’all really that blind?

Wth dude... You are the one who kept saying over and over that we would never get these things and now, instead of saying I told you so, your complaining that we didn't get it? Gfy

It does not pleasure me to say I told you so. I merely enjoy pointing out errant reasoning and hypocrisy. And occasionally you’re*

This is a cost neutral offer, pure and simple.
Spirit received substantial tax benefits, but unlike the legacies, failed to share the wealth.
PBS alone will pay for the pay increase.
Do NOT accept a per duty period 5hr rig.
It must be calendar day.
14hr 4 day pairings...

Have you asked the NC about the affect of the tax legislation and us getting a piece of that pie? I heard it was addressed on a conference call that I missed but they will give you their opinion if you call or email them.
