Not bashing on you at all, I get it. But boy, if this doesn’t sum up an airline pilot I don’t know what does. “Everything is absolutely perfect. I should totally leave.”

The other is that I don't think the dropping everything and listing premium gravy train will last forever, a JCBA might kill our scheduling rules and this might be the only chance I'll ever have to jump with no 121 PIC.

In response to the other guys, I'm ORD FO. No idea how I'm getting so successful on the drops. I bid weekends off so I'm not trying to drop over a weekend and that's it.
Thats awsome man, 100% time with your family and working smart. But youre right tho, all is going to change once we join b6.

Why? We have to negotiate a JCBA with JBLU. Why so quick to give up our drop rules?

Everthing might change WITH ANY CBA revision ALWAYS for your entire flying career. It all depends on how well the pilot group uses their leverage which this cycle is huge and a must-pass JCBA magnifies it even more. In this environment there is absolutely no reason to expect the JCBA to contain less than the very best features of both the B6 and NK contracts PLUS a very healthy pay scale increase. If the pilots group settles for less, it’s on them, not management.

Addendum: And first year NK pay and benefits is shameful and NEEDS TO BE MASSIVELY INCREASED.

Im with you! Agree but I don't have any faith in my colleagues or Alpa as I stated before. And I remember alot of people saying " I don't care about first year pay, they have to pay their dues".

It really depends on the will of the pilot group to hold people accountable. The UA TA clearly demonstrates that.

Seniority cuts two ways, it empowers you but entraps you as well. We need to be a UNIFIED group, not every (gender of your choice) for his/her/their/it’s self.

That’s why we need to look after EVERYBODY in the JCBA, INCLUDING the new hires.
