Both airlines upped their offer by $2.

Looks like the Frontier raise is only $1 according to JetBlue because Frontier is loaning Spirit over $200 million to pay for the upfront effectively making shareholders fund their own increase.

Yea red eyes suck. I also bid to avoid them. As far as ‘suddenly it’s exotic and exciting’….yea I would say Paris and Rome are different than Cleveland and Dallas.
The current footprint to London sucks. I believe 16ish hours 3 day. That’s why they’re going to new hires.
My point was that it becomes a very large national carrier that serves Europe and Hawaii. Much different than a niche East coast airline that does some Trans Con. If it happens, our contract should reflect what we’d become. I want nothing less than United/Delta/American. Unfortunately your BOD seems determined to get their payout and join Frontier. I guess we’ll have to see what happens with the vote. I hope it’s us but wish y’all well either way.

ULCC stock has to be at $15.45 in order for the value of the Frontier offer to be equal to the JetBlue offer. It is completely plausible to expect that and more in the same timeframe it would take to close a potential JB/NK deal.

ULCC needs to trade in the $15-$16.00 range to make this even. If it ever trades above that you’ll be making more than the JetBlue offer. Do you see a combined ULCC ever going above that price ? (That’s rhetorical, not aimed at you but other readers)..

And someone will chime in that you can’t predict the future and what the share price may be and the $33 is more money today, guaranteed money. I’d argue it’s not today and it’s not guaranteed. You can’t predict any ULCC future share price more than you can predict when/If you may ever receive the $33.

if an investor believes $15/$16 share price of combined company is likely.. then the F9 deal is a no brainer

News Flash!!!!!!

Ted makes more with F9 vs whatever JBLU offered over the last few weeks. Ted is looking out for #1 and he would push a deal with Air Koryo if it meant the most money for him.
