Seems it was always a bit of a hostile takeover. NK was going away. JB is now just trying to bypass NK board approval. No idea if that will work or not?

Poison pill will heavily dilute and reduce Spirit share value significantly at this point. '

Right. I guess some people think you can just write a new one at any time without consequences.

Stock up $2.18 today. Why wouldn’t it be, since stockholders now have a standing offer to buy it from them for $30.00 to $33.00 (depending on the NK BOD willingness to play ball)?

That’s almost a 50% increase in share price over the next 45 days. That seems like an investment few would refuse.

I wonder if frontier airlines will be compelled to up their offer.

Most likely....but JB too. There's prob gonna be some back and forth and A LOT of public lobbying about each of their positions before June 10.

In short. More to come!

Understand the world my friend, the world is being consolidated for control, not for money, They already have all the money! hahah
I won't touch any blackrock funds because of their hardcore ESG stance. Larry Fink sux.

Nah. They don’t think they’ll get voted down. They may come back with more money if they are voted down, or may sit pat if they think the deal won’t pass regulatory approval.

They’d have to up the offer significantly just to match their own initial offer. Selling to JetBlue, someone who bought NK stock this morning can make a 50% ROI in 45 days. They’d have to be insane to prefer the F9 offer.
