Thank you for sharing…I haven’t seen this.

I think all the recent news is making me consider switching my vote to Jetblue. although I do still have a lot of reservations.

Whatever happens to NK you guys and gals will be all right. However, do you really think the CEO will come out and say what is truly on his mind?

Give me a bigger ewr base and drops to zero and im in.

ULCC model is in trouble. I expect no good faith negotiations from our current managers nor from Ted's dark lord, old man get off my lawn Billy F.

I completely respect any Spirit person who genuinely hopes for a JB merger, but I hope that this CEO message isn’t the reason for changing anyone’s opinion. He’s just buttering up the employees to try and create more chaos and strife within the ranks to make it more difficult for Spirit leadership to manage their ship.

Or he’s aware that there are spirit employees afraid of getting bought by someone else and disrupting their ULCC world domination plans and is trying to allay their fears and welcome them. He’s made appeals to the board/C suite. He’s made appeals to shareholders and Wall Street. He’s made appeals to employees at both B6 and NK. I don’t see how you can draw the conclusion that his reasoning for his appeal to NK employees is to create strife. He has nothing to gain from that. Also, NK employees have zero to do with how the shareholder vote goes on Friday, minus the votes of a de minimis amount of shares of shareholding employees (whom he’s addressed in his other comms). NK employees and their feelings about the love triangle are also irrelevant to how either deal will go down. Seems a bit more plausible that his message is not designed to create strife, but rather to open the minds of those who are not happy about the idea that B6 is acquiring them. Some NK employees listen to Ted as if what he says is gospel, and he’s hoping to provide words from the other side. That said, there are obviously people who don’t want to listen to anything other than what lord Franke and lord Ted have to say.

I’m surprised anybody listens to Ted anymore. A couple months after the F9/NK announcement and spirits already moving to dog$h!t one day trips. What about the majority of the pilot group that commutes? This place has always had issues with getting hotel rooms. But rather than getting better infrastructure to deal with that problem, let’s just make more 1 day trips so it’s the pilots problem. The idea that we are gonna get better QOL by going with Frontier is hilarious.

listen, I know at JB you guys have had years of stagnation and ****ty bases and acquiring Spirit will open opportunities for you guys, but if you can’t understand why some Spirit people don’t want a JB merger, I can’t help you. Seems like there is a lot more in it for for you guys than there is us
