It stinks but lots of pilots have had to start over mid career. It's been a good decade so we've forgotten about the bad old days.

I’m not really understanding what’s you’re saying about the vacation thing. You start with 3 weeks of vacation at AA. 2 weeks at DL and UA.

Legacies are 5:15 average credit per day right now.

You start accruing 3 year one for the following year. Are you saying day one of ground school you have 3 available? Also, I’m not sure how you’re getting an average with PBS? Looks like your new agreement started at 3.67 and tops at 4.58 credit per day.

Personally, I have 4 weeks (28 days) at 5 credit per day this year and assuming nothing changes till 65 that will be true till then. Just looking at UAL for example. I would give up 16 weeks of vacation till I turn 65. That and according to a recent Alpa contract comparison UAL tops at 4.25 credit per vac day.

Perhaps he means credit for vacation days. 7 days of vacation doesn't credit 35 hours

I believe you might be confusing rig with vac credit on your average? Just a guess. Vacation is a separate sec and is controlling in Alpa contracts. Not sure about APA?

then Call out Sick, lol. Giving up Vacation at Nk absolutely was the worst part about leaving. All summer vacations etc. There are ways to get days off. I mean C’mon….. we’re pilots. 😂
