If the system is not working as intended.. here's two things to need to do..

1) Contact ALPA Scheduling Reps to get it resolved, then;

2) File an NCC if necessary.

If you don't do that, then no one can fix it and we all suffer.

Is either day of the redeye red? If so, that's why it's denied. Trading a trip in one base for a trip in another is the same as submitting a drop request and an add request. Red/red does not apply for out of base transactions.

As a side note, when stuff like this happens, pick up your phone and call your rep or Sched cmte. Complaining about it on a web board is completely useless.

I assume it is because of the different base. Your base is red and you are dropping in your base, making red worse for your base.

Default Spirit Quality of Life

I'm thinking about applying to Spirit. I've been flying 135 for 10 years, have about 7000tt, 3500 turbin pic, 1100 jet pic, but no 121. First question, do you guys/gals think I'd get an interview?
Next, what is the quality of life at Spirit like? Do people enjoy working there? How does there schedule work? How long would it take to be able to hold 4 days off at a time?
If there is somewhere that has this information listed I'd appreciate a point in the right direction.
Thank you

read through this entire thread (I did at one point, lol. lots of good info)

-You very well may Get an interview, who knows (dont know what the trick is anymore).

-As far as QOL goes, living in base makes a huge difference but QOL has been absolutely stellar! Sure we need to improve a bunch of things contractually (Pay, tighten up language, retirement) but the day to day job/crews/airplane/Reserve rules etc are all great. (as far as comparing to other Majors/LCC, I have no idea)

-4 days off (supposed to be 5) other than during the transition is mandatory Sometimes ya even get 5 or 6, lol

Ive been here a year and 4 months, here is my August Schedule. (not much variety in Destinations out of ACY but I bid basically for days/weekends off)
