Yeah, the 29th for our bi-monthly payday newsletter. Which I actually like because it covers 4 or 5 items in 1 email, rather than many emails each covering one thing.
So I was curious and looked at all of the emails I have received from the MEC recently, im not even counting council 77 items...
29th-Payday emails
29th-NC Crewroom visit
28th-Scheduling update
28th-Red/Green update on black days now will be dropped.
26th-Reminder for NC FLL crewroom visit
19th-Safety newsletter
18th-NC crewroom visit
15th-Payday email
What do you feel we are missing in this 2 weeks span? Considering that each email usually consists of 4 or 5 specific issues?
So I was curious and looked at all of the emails I have received from the MEC recently, im not even counting council 77 items...

How safe is the ACY base? Any word on a base opening up near New York?

On a nicer note, it seems safe for now, no new bases planned, a new hire FO can hold any base except maybe LAS after the first month or two, and holding a line depends, but usually pretty fast. There is a lot of garbage in the last 700 pages, don't blame you for not seeing it.

ACY closing is my biggest worry, but it is what it is. Hopefully we'll always have. NE base. Probably able to hold a line right away, RSV goes senior here. ACY CAs are all great, flying is good (little variety), gate agents are a pleasure and going from parking checklist to car in 5 mins is AWESOME!

Im not a kool aid drinker. Really don't have much of an opinion because frankly I am lazy. I know... I should care more, argue more, and push an agenda more... But I don't have one, I don't understand half of what you guys are arguing about and frankly am to busy to care as much as I should.

Some Of our guys are just miserable & lazy. Mike M has always answered my phone calls and happy to help with contract questions. MEC members have responded to my emails almost within minutes and it took me all but two emails before I was able to join an ALPA Committee.
