I have to know what a "4 engined 757 sized jet" is.
Thanks for the feedback. It's a variant of the -135, weight wise is similar to 757 I think!

That's a turboprop. I'd go with the KC-135.

Never mind...I see I'm a little slow to the party.

Hawker Siddeley Nimrod, but of course.

Because nobody here would possibly know what a KC-135 is.

Also, just a guess, but with a screen name of "IfItAintBoeing"... Might have a hard time appreciating the finer things of the Fifi Lifestyle.

In any case, apply everywhere and everywhere, and update often. This is a screwed up industry, and you never know who's going to get the call and who's going to get passed up for unknown reasons.

Delta's got millennials with a full six months of real world experience (at the regional level) under their belts sitting in the right seat while totally ignoring highly trained and qualified aviators from military and civilian backgrounds... It's a mad mad mad mad world out there and the only way to play is to go shotgun style. Maybe even apply at the regionals, get your time up...

And you are right, it does all seem to be a bit crazy. With answers I have been getting there doesn't seem to be any consistency in hiring requirements.

Now you've piqued my curiosity!

Looking at a list of aircraft you Limeys fly for her Magesty, the only other aircraft that fits your description is the E-3...

It appears we don't have any money left to update our list lol! Nope, E-3 is 707. We def have a couple of -135's you sold us.

I was thinking E/K/R...C-135 but always thought the 707 was larger than the 757. I was curious if it was some kind of Soviet contraption where the reverse engineered a 757 and added more power.

707 is slightly larger than a -135. 135's are based on the 707 prototype and that's where the similarities end apparently. But yes you are right it's an RC.

Jumping way ahead of myself here but is LAS a junior or senior domicile?
