I'm not sure. Of the 10 airbus spots, it looks like they had their choice of either SFO or EWR.

Nope.

You can rest assured that those will be posted here about two minutes after they are released. UAL has typically been releasing dates about a month in advance so stay tuned.

Noticed a couple guys must have gotten IAH 73 out of new hire back in nov/dec. They just got stuffed down by 25 bid awardees for March. Probably going to still be faster for the guys starting 75 that want IAH to bid 73 at yr 2.

I may have missed it somewhere, but how does it work these days? When you start class do you bid what you want (hope) from everything just in case, or do they say, "This is what's available, pick from this only." and you bid for only those airframes and bases according to class seniority?

I only just got my CJO back on the 6th, and Pre-COVID they were saying late-spring/early-summer class for me, so no big rush, just curious. Thanks!

Each class will have a specific allocation of must-fill slots. You can pretty much expect a mix of A320, B737, and B756 on the coasts, however there aren’t always all three airframes available in each class. As soon as you’re on property, you’ll have the ability to bid in any vacancy bids that occur... There are also seat locks A320 and B737 can’t bid the opposite airframe for 2 years and could only bid up to 756. If awarded 756 can’t bid down to 320 or 737 for 2 years.
