what are the chances of getting 737 EWR out of class? It seems like it’s only been A320 lately. How soon would one be able to get 73 EWR if they get IAH initially? Thanks!

If you don't get 73 EWR immediately, as long as you get 73 somewhere, you should get to EWR pretty quickly.

Less than they used to be, and it will depend on where they are in the class, but they're definitely non-zero. Will still be plenty of EWR vacancies on the 737 going forward.

As far as how long if awarded IAH initially, likely on the first vacancy. There aren't many people who want EWR that haven't already been able to get it, so any EWR vacancies would likely only appeal to recent new hires in the same boat (and the normal changing of bases from more senior folks which usually represent a small proportion of narrowbody vacancies).

New here in United - What’s the chances of widebody anywhere on the network, any base?

Like 95% of classes in the last 2 years have had 756/777/787 drops in BI. They usually go junior too.

95% is an overstatement, especially if you mean >10% of class slots.

But if you don’t get it on day 1, within 6 months is very likely.

BI will get 756 here and there, and then you can get 777/787 in a vacancy or two...
