Maybe first week of October was more accurate.

Been a long week and a half. Maybe they will send the hogan email out this afternoon, or it’s gonna be a LONNNGGG weekend.

So u are a Legacy United furloughee or were u a flight attendant or gate agent?

If furloughee, why didn’t you come back upon recall?

FYI, just heard that 5000 hrs is the “average” from Howard Attarian this week. So if you just hit the average, there’s a good chance you might be in the queue soon...

I had heard the folks “passing” would get the Hogan email within 3 weeks so don’t stress too much... yet..

I share your pain! It feels like forever. Just wait till after you take the Hogan... that wait will probably be much worse.

I was a A&P. I didn't come back because I had to move for a new job to keep feeding myself and my family and wasn't willing to uproot and move back to the bay area when recalled.

Yes that one. I was just reading it over again. What if we just were the subjects of a test group for them to try this event and use their new building, without any real plans to hire us?!? ...idk, my mind is playing tricks already, trying to rationalize the wait. Hehe. ...must...be...patient! Ahh

I attended the civilian event. The email came from pilotrecruiting. I might just be late to the game and y’all got this already, but here is what I got this morning:


Good Afternoon,



Thank you once again for attending our United Airlines Pilot Career Expo last week. We appreciate the time you took to visit with us at our Flight Training Center and hope we were able to answer any questions you may have had. It was a pleasure to meet you and we hope you are excited for a future with United Airlines!

In the coming weeks, we will begin sending invitations to start our selection process. We were extremely pleased with the exceptional caliber of candidates we met and will be metering out these invitations. Please keep an eye out for further communication over the next few weeks. With that said, you may also experience a short time between each step of the process due to the high volume of excellent applicants we will be inviting. Please be patient with us and feel free to reach out with any questions.

I wouldn't read too much into receiving the survey letter, more than likely they just sent it out to a random number of people.

Someone on here got something other than the survey. It starts like the survey but second paragraph is different

For those that received Hogan invites, what was your Availability Date? Thanks.

I don’t think anyone on here has gotten a hogan invite yet from the event

One of my friends received one on Fri. His avail date was probably either immediate or the standard “two weeks.”

I wonder why it’s not sent in one batch it doesn’t seem to be personalized to the candidate unless they are now reviewing the app again after the invite

Mine it’s definitely not personalized. I didn’t think they send out emails on Sundays either. I got it last night.

I got my Hogan invite on a Sunday night back in 2014. Not sure how common that was but I was not expecting the Hogan, let alone on a Sunday night.

I think the one Hogan mentioned was issued before the job fair, so that would mean nobody has reported anything as a result of going just yet.
