In my opinion of what they said at the expo, we won’t be getting a TBNT email. United said several times we were their top candidates and we were there for a reason. So did our one on one recruiter. I believe them and take them for their word. But there’s over 500 of us and it may take 2, 3 or 4 months.

It is difficult to stay patient. We all want in and we’re all very excited for it. I wish everybody good luck.

Doesn’t seem according to this thread that anyone got anything last week...odds are not in our favor at this time I don’t think
|
I don’t think anything has changed. They are in no hurry to get folks in. I wouldn’t take the lack of contact to mean anything.

Received the “be patient” email this afternoon. I attended the the Mil Expo in the morning. As others have said, waiting for the next step is the hardest. Keeping the fingers crossed.

Received a “be patient” email today. Hope it’s the one others have gotten right before getting the Hogan invite. Did the morning session on the mil day. Fingers crossed and doubling the frequency of checking my inbox! Good luck to all.

Anyone with a 2019 availability date hear anything?
From what I could tell, much of the folks at the mil event were already available or were becoming available in the fall. Then again, since it was such a short trip I only had a chance to talk to a few people. |

1. “Be patient” email on the 22nd.
2. “We’re going to send you the Hogan” email today. Mil Expo attendee (AM). Available in January |
Same as Wing Sweep. Got the “Be patient” email Monday and the “Look for the Hogan email in the next few days” tonight. I attended the Mil Expo and have an immediate availability. Good luck all.

For those still waiting, United said they are still “metering out” Hogan invites from the job fair.

The Hiring Expo will probably fill interview dates for the rest of the year (my opinion). If your application score is high enough, you still may be called in to interview. There may be additional classes announced in the future which will require additional interviews. The next Hiring Expo will probably be in September. United will be attending NGPA, WAI, and OBAP for 2019.
United will also be attending the Aero Crew Solutions virtual job fair on Friday, October 26th. https://aerocrewsolutions.vfairs.com If anyone has another question, I will do my best to find you the correct information. Good luck. |

Anyone have any idea if your app was scored pre-expo or if you updated it later the updated version would be used to score for the interview invite? |

Do you happen to have the notes from the 26 Oct virtual job fair? The only data I could find so far is United’s presentation slides, which appear to contain data points from over a year ago. Thanks for your help and any info you can provide!

Good luck to all of us being patient on the next invitations. Don’t sweat it. Not what you probably want to hear but do the math... There were over 500 people at the expo, and the training center is almost maxed out currently. 75 new hires per month, minus CPPs, and you’re looking at only ~50 off the street hires per month (not sure what the current CPP% is, but Mesa and AWAC starts up soon I think). *maybe* 75 Hogan invites per month. And United sends out invites based on when they expect you in class, I’d guess about 2 months prior. It could take 4-6 months to work through the whole “expo” list depending on how many off those 500 made it into the stack (assuming most if not all did). Be patient. It’s going to take time. Keep your apps up to date and check your emails. Waiting is the hardest part of their interview process, but don’t stress out or lose sleep over it. If you were at the expo, they want you here. |

Be patient. It’s going to take time. If they invited you to the expo, they want you here. Keep your apps up to date and check your emails. I know waiting is the hardest part, but don’t stress out or lose sleep over it. I completely understand. I/we figured it would take 5-6 months. Everyone would like to be at the front of the line. But, being in the line is really what counts. Thank you for the words of encouragement. |

Thank you for the words of encouragement. Yup. I was there not too long ago. It sucks to wait. Judging by everyone’s posts on this thread, I think the expo only made things more stressful for those that attended (just my opinion). But at least it’s better than Delta’s free-for-all registration fiasco. Hopefully it gave all those who attended a chance to be sold on wanting to work here. Excited to have you all on board in the near future. |
