I worry about getting all the people from the smaller stations to the hubs to fill those WBs. Is there enough RJ planes to do this or can we get enough NBs on most of these routes to make those WBs produce some serious coin?

The CCS numbers are still reflecting approximately 1,000 early retirements who are no longer on the line, they will remain on the list until they go off the payroll.
On the other extreme, you would need to be about 530 to hold a line on the 787 in DEN.

Another perspective is that 5500 represents a November 1997 Legacy UAL hire and an April 2005 Legacy CAL hire. 17 years to make 777 Captain. Holy unfreakin' believable movement Batman! The only caveat I would add is that right now the company is planning a return to China in May. If China does not open up in the Spring I wonder if it will impact the staffing or if UAL has alternative routes on which to use the planes. Guess time will tell. I'm off to training on 1/25 so we'll see what rumors are flying around Denver. The van drivers have all been very quite lately so it's been mostly just boring PPU pay talk

I will be shocked to see china open up any time before 2025. Hope this post ages poorly.

If 5,500 is junior widebody CA in EWR, what’s the g-line seniority number now for EWR 777 or 787 CA?

sub 2000, if you are a ual pilot you can look for the exact number. If you are not why does it matter? Keep in mind that those 5500 numbers are from the last bid and have yet to be trained. It will be months before they are actually bidding, who knows what the flying (and gline) will look like at that point.
